He's been arrested for assault and is being kept in custody. We're trying to determine how get him to return her powers, but there is no way to do so without his cooperation and he's very short on that.

The three statements given on his run in with Ms. Kearney were conflicting ones and the investigation had yet to proceed further, but I had reason to believe he acted in self defense in that instance.

I ask each of you if you're willing to meet with the person who wants to visit you, and in this case it was agreed upon. I had reason to believe they were friends and apparently so did Tempest. I was also within eyesight of the room and Sonya Karimov was accompanying him as well. Precautions were taken.

They were not sufficient, and that is my fault. It will not happen again.

His statement regarding Ms. Kearney put it as self defense in that his power activated by itself upon her attempting to use her empathy on him and nullified it by removing her power.

With Tempest? Beyond calling her a traitor, he's given no reason. Up until the moment he took it he apparently gave no indication they weren't still friendly.

While the case is almost entirely he-says she-says, I assure you the light of this incident has shifted the weight of belief in their statements.

I'm uncertain of his official status with DITR, but I'll ask Goodman. I wouldn't be surprised.
