[ It doesn't take that long to show up, since... Tony doesn't have anything much else to do. He might have started without her a little bit, but in fairness, she never gave him an exact time to be ready or wait for. Either way, he's got a bottle of decent stuff from ~a stash, and a bottle that looks far more conspicuous for the lack of a label, but is nevertheless completely opaque, clear liquid. He sends a text to her (knock, knock) as he nears the door, hopefully timed well enough to mean he gets to keep using both hands to hold onto the bottles. It's efficiency, not laziness. ]

[ She opens the door, shuts it again. There may be a bottle of rum on the desk that's open and mostly empty, but she drank almost all of that before the mutiny even happened, okay, she'd been saving it. From the glass next to it she's only had a little bit so far. ]

Do you have any idea how happy I am you didn't take sides?

[ Hello to you too. Not that he cares. Technically they already talked on the phone anyway. He sets his alcohol down where she has hers, since that's apparently where it goes right now. ]

Vaguely annoyed at least one mutineer, yes, but yeah, I can probably figure.

[ She can at least pull out a second glass for him and offer it forwards, taking a seat on her bed as she pulls her own glass closer. ]

It's such a fucking shitshow out there. [ Taking a long drink as she just kind of sags. ] You should lock the door and not let me out again until I'm sober, because if you don't I'll stop restraining myself from punching a lot of people in the face and I can't stop being a professional or they will throw me out an airlock.

[ He'll go ahead and take that glass, sitting on whoever's bed is opposite hers and pouring himself a healthy amount. Then he hears what she's saying, and takes a couple swigs of it before immediately refilling the portion he just drank. Then he settles back a little, which mostly consists of just pivoting a little more towards her, elbows on his knees and glass hanging in his hand between them. ]

Much as I would like to see that, I do not want to see you thrown out an airlock. Personally though I don't know that you'd be out of your bounds. Restitution for emotional and psychological distress brought on by sheer fucking stupidity all around. [ He's not privy to all of it, obviously, and he doesn't actually care to be, but what he has seen on the network, via the feeds when he feels like looking - both sides have had their 'problem children' to deal with. ] How are you?

[ This is the worst. Everything is the worst and she's mad at everything and she needs to drink a little more alcohol, here. ]

I'd offer to help, but I'm pretty sure that, too, would make it worse. [ His track record for 'helping' tends to be on the 'blow everything up and just start over' side of things. Not much of a reconstructionist.

That is a little surprising though. It's not like. A great time to be all gossipy, but this is just letting a friend vent, right? Something slightly more normal to talk about? Maybe? ] What about?

At this point I think anything would make it worse. There is no option that doesn't result in people dying. [ None! Sorry Tony she's feeling pretty pessimistic right now.

She really needs to vent right now. Very, very badly, even if she can't tell you the whole 'Kate's Batwoman' thing without breaking confidence. ] It's complicated. She had a separate thing she was doing and it's not necessarily a bad thing but it's still pretty important and I found out a - very poor way and at a very bad time.

[ That's okay she can feel like that it's why he brought two bottles of alcohol. Although she's starting to outpace him, he thinks, so he finishes off that glass and reaches over for a refill, holds the bottle out in an offer to fill hers too. He's not really sure how to do this whole like. Good friend comforting thing. ] Well in that case I feel uniquely qualified to be of assistance.

She had a separate thing she was doing? [ Like. A separate person-thing? ] Did you... Catch her doing... it?

[ All he has to do is drink with her and not care about the yelling, really. That's the whole friend thing. She doesn't even really need comforting. ] No, no, not - she wasn't cheating on me. [ she was cheating on Roslyn's job is that kind of worse Roslyn feels like maybe it is. ]

But I did catch her doing this whole. Thing. I mean she called me in and knew I would, but. [ God. More alcohol, right now. She'll take that refill and drink it all in one go. ] Everyone's such fucking idiots.

[ Oh, that's easy. He learned how to do that when he was like. Eleven. That's totally fine. Especially if she doesn't need comforting, because seriously, if she doesn't want to have sex, then that's pretty much his one card off the table.

That's another sort of eyebrow raise but hey, whatever. He gives himself a double really quick and then just leaves the bottle within her reach and sits back again. ] Bad timing, good idea? Everyone's usually fucking idiots, it's why we have so many. [ ha ha ] But it is unusual to see everyone come out in such force.

[ See, then, this is totally going to be fine. Quietly refilling, though at least she doesn't drink this one immediately, just kind of swirls it around and watches it. ]

Haven't they just. If I manage to keep everyone alive through this then I'll consider it a miracle. I can't even count on the people theoretically on my side.

[ Well he doesn't mind starting in on his own immediately, even if he's not going to finish it quite so fast. ]

Why, what are they doing? Because that seems like it sort of defeats the point of having them... on your side.

I mean, Goodman went out and just had to make a bad situation worse, repeatedly, and Pinkman - Pinkman said he wanted to visit someone as a friend and then assaulted her and she still thought he was her friend right up until the moment he did because apparently he's insane and that's not even touching the people who want toexecute this group because they turned off the lights and the doors and pissed everyone off.

[ Nope, more alcohol. Definitely finishing off that drink now. She's so mad, Tony. ]

Jesus. Sounds like your life has been a barrel of laughs lately. You just have another drink real quick before handing that back, don't worry about it. Are they seriously being that ridiculous about everything? Because that's pretty fucking ridiculous. That's genuinely a level of stupidity that I wouldn't have even ascribed to this bunch, which is... sort of saying something. Considering.

[ She's going to take him up on that another drink thing before handing it back, stare a little morosely at her cup. ]

Everyone's being completely ridiculous. Multiple people have literally suggested airlocking them or some other form of execution with complete seriousness. It's not like they're making anything simpler on themselves, but. Really.

Jesus. [ Again.. ] That's kind of fucked up. I mean, sure, bad idea and all that, but I wouldn't really call it a capital offense. They're probably not helping, but then, I mean, it's not like any of them apparently has a clear head about anything at the moment anyway. It's like everybody went and lost their minds at the same time, for no reason.

The only person who even died was on their side, and they got resurrected. A few other people got small injuries.

[ She slumps, leans back against the wall. ] I'm sorry. I don't really know who else to yell at right now.

[ He shrugs, sips at his drink again. ] Hey, it's cool. I can fake a sympathetic ear just as well as the next guy. Don't worry.

Who died?

[ she snorts a little, but that helped thaw her out a little, actually, calm her down some. ] Well, so long as we're both drinking.

Seviilia. She's a Death Knight, it's complicated, she was alive again really quickly.

Oh, we are both totally drinking. I don't talk about things unless there is sex or drinking happening, and I'm not one to try and beat off a gay horse.

That... [ He's just sort of going to pause for a moment and then blink and then drink a little again. Fortifying. ] I don't know if that counts then. They're a little creepy too, right? Is that just me?

[ she nearly chokes with sudden startled laughter, takes another drink and leans back, far more relaxed than when he showed up. it's good just to yell, it really honestly is. ]

They're incredibly creepy. But it doesn't matter how much I hate it, I don't have the resources to put a Death Knight in prison who's not going to go willingly.
